How does it work

• A question set tailored to the proposal you are involved with is drawn from approximately 500 questions.
  
• The questions you are recommended to answer are determined by the scope of your proposal and its main intention.  You enter this information on an initial screen when you set up the tool for your own use.
  
• You will always be asked a main question and the first level of supplementary questions for each area covered by the Integrated Regional Strategy objectives.  Further levels of supplementary questions will be recommended for the key areas your specific proposal is directed at.  Additional levels of supplementary questions will also be recommended for larger proposals.
  
• Each of the Integrated Regional Strategy objectives has a main question with up to five levels of supplementary questions, arranged as the trunk and branches of a tree.
  
• The individual question trees for the objectives are connected where there are questions common to two or more objectives.  These common questions are answered only once, and your response appears wherever necessary.
  
• Specific answers to one or more specific questions may also trigger a recommendation that additional supplementary questions are answered for other objectives, creating further linkages.
